  Greg Barsh,男,1984年获美国华盛顿大学临床医学和人类疾病遗传学博士学位,1990年起任教于美国斯坦福大学医学院,现任美国斯坦福大学医学院遗传学教授,遗传系副主任,斯坦福大学医学院科研人员培训项目主任,美国国立卫生研究院人类健康和疾病遗传学研究分部主席及HudsonAlpha生物技术研究所研究员。Dr. Barsh及其团队致力于人类和哺乳动物眼睛、毛发和皮肤颜色变化的遗传学机制和细胞传导通路研究,现任美国科学院理事会遗传学分会名誉教授,斯坦福大学Bio-X会员,泛美协会色素细胞研究分会主席和《PLoS Genetics》杂志主编,以第一作者/通讯作者发表SCI论文105篇,其中17篇被《Nature》、《Science》、《Nat Genet》等顶尖杂志收录。鉴于其在该领域的突出贡献,Dr. Barsh分别获得儿科研究协会颁发的E Mead Johnson奖,国际色素细胞研究协会颁发的Takeuchi and Seiji奖及美国皮肤协会成就奖。
